Now we do not so much have a culture of death as we have death without culture.

That’s why we need a better cultural conversation –
one that explores death as an occasion for discovering who and what we truly are.

Nobody should be offered death instead of care.

Right now, 1 in 20 Canadians are dying by a new system called “MAID.” The push for euthanasia is leaving the elderly, the disabled, and the struggling feeling devalued, dismissed, and discarded.

You might be asking: “Why am I still here? Will someone be with me?” We understand the fear of facing the final chapter alone. But we believe it is good you exist, and that everyone deserves to finish well.

“I’ve never actually heard someone speak as eloquently about the effects of euthanasia on a society, the sociological effects, so I think we’ve been really lucky to have Amanda with us.”

– Dr. Xavier Symons, Director of the Plunkett Centre for Ethics at the Australian Catholic University (ACU)

“Touching. Effective. The most engaging speaker thus far! The use of personal story, video and statistics brought across the point in a way that cuts across political divides. It has equipped me with essential arguments about why dying with dignity is dying naturally. Nothing was missing. A+.”

 – Delegate of ADF International’s Areté Academy in London, UK

“Before I heard you speak, I did not feel permission to grieve.”

– Lovanie, granddaughter whose grandmother was euthanized

“Amanda presented such a compelling case for the need to activate ourselves on this issue. She coupled both the emotional sentiment with the intellectual arguments really elegantly. Immense respect for her work. I have come away feeling a strong pull to be part of efforts to combat this issue in Australia.”

– Delegate of ADF International’s Areté Academy in London, UK

“Thank you for the inspiring presentation you gave to the seminarians at Holy Cross Seminary in Auckland, New Zealand. Days later some were still reflecting on the stories you shared. One seminarian remarked that it was the best presentation he has heard this year.”

– Fr. David Dowling, Rector of Holy Cross Seminary in Auckland, New Zealand
